Job Description:
DT Professional Services is seeking a Supply Technician to join our team in a hybrid capacity in Corona, CA! The Supply Technician will work in the NSWC Corona Property Management Division, General Equipment Branch to ensure records are maintained and tracked for Navy installations. You’ll perform all aspects of technical supply management work for  the US Navy (e.g., inventory management, storage management, property utilization, physical assets, services, etc) related to organizational maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with other departments to verify that ERP transactions and postings are in line with documented processes and Navy standards relating to the receipt, maintenance, and disposition of an asset.
  • Create, correct, update and manage ERP asset records.
  • Identify ERP asset records that require additional supporting information and documentation and obtain these from the owning department and from causative research in order to increase data accuracy.
  • Prepare electronic documentation in preparation of introducing received assets into ERP - This includes communicating with other personnel in order to create barcode stickers to be placed on the asset.
  • Scan and attach all KSD’s for all changes, updates and correction into ERP.
  • Generate and review inventory reports in an effort to increase data accuracy and integrity.
  • Process command assets for disposal and ERP retirement.
  • Check-in new employees and check-out outgoing employees by properly adding or removing asset records from their name in ERP.
  • Perform Triennial Inventory of assets at both NSWC Corona and Seal Beach/Fallbrook

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to reinstate within the last 24 months & ability to maintain that clearance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit and forklift qualification.
  • The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, sit, and lift up to 80lbs.
  • Experience with Navy ERP (SAP or similar software), asset management tracking and recording, barcoding and have working knowledge of NSWC Corona local procedures preferred OR similar experience in the private sector.
  • Good interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers and vendors; Customer service skills are essential.
  • Problem solving skills to troubleshoot varied problems within varied environments.
  • Excellence at multi-tasking and the ability to quickly react to changes in priorities and timelines.
  • High sense of urgency that allows for success when working under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to take direction and interact well with various levels of the organization and customer support organizations.
  • Ability to articulate problems, solutions, and technical support activities with customers, DoD sponsors, and other technical team members.
  • Must be efficient, organized and able to prioritize tasking.
  • Ability to follow instruction with little supervision and work in a fast paced learning environment.
  • Capability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

The compensation for this position: $36.12 hourly.
