Job Summary:
DT Professional Services seeks a full-time, Business Line Director - Technology  Services in a hybrid capacity in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic to tactical execution of assigned business objectives. Working with C Level and Focus Area Leads, providing insight and oversight to current program execution delighting customers, accomplishing corporate goals, and supporting strategic/targeted markets for growth for Technology Services products and services. The Business Line Director - Technology Services is responsible for executing the growth plans of the business line in accordance with yearly assigned corporate goals and objectives. Additionally, overseeing a team of Focus Area leads in the execution of technical and/or non-technical programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. These programs / projects may span various CONUS or OCONUS customers and agencies. The Business Line Director - Technology Services will coordinate with the Focus Area leads for geographic or customer specific assistance in the execution of the business lines programs/projects or for gathering information regarding a specific business development activity.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the development and fully executes the approved Technology Services Business Line plan
  • Establishes for Technology Services Business Line goals to align with corporate goals and ensures those goals flow down to the lowest execution level 
  • Identifies to the Chief Growth Officer tactical and strategic business opportunities through internal and external partnerships
  • Responsible for ensuring the Technology Services Business Line operates efficiently and effectively, supporting all corporate initiatives from initiation through to implementation
  • Responsible to meet financial targets and objectives
  • Oversees business line capture activities to meet assigned growth goals
  • Oversees the for business lines management team in the execution of the operational, financial and contractual aspects of the business line 
  • Works with the business lines management team to manage and monitor subcontractor performance and equitable work distribution
  • Works with the business lines management team to define, implement, and drive mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives
  • Works with the business lines management team to monitor and manage customer relationships
  • Provides thought leadership to business line process improvement 
  • Assists business lines management team with employment, training, mentoring, motivation, discipline, and performance evaluation of assigned employees
  • Identifies, evaluates, and supports implementation of new solution opportunities to address unmet customer needs
  • Continually enhances job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, sharing professional publications, maintaining professional networks and professional organizations
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or Civilian Public Trust security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline or a Business Degree with a concentration in Technology Management, and/or Management and leadership
  • 7+ years’ of technical and supervisory experience in the management of multi-task, multi-function projects within the Department of Defense or Federal contracting environment
  • 5+ years’ experience managing programs or projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing, developing, evaluating, and supporting teams of 15+ technical and non-technical personnel
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Department of Defense and/or federal procurement practices
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources
  • Experience in preparing reports and briefings
  • Demonstrated analytical and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an active member of a senior leadership team
  • Demonstrated mastery of verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with all levels of an organization and/or potential customers
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally and confidently communicate with Executives, customer partner company
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience managing a technical and non-technical team or organization of 50+ personnel with P&L responsibility
  • Master’s Degree in a technical or business discipline
  • 3+ years’ business development experience to include opportunity identification, capture, teaming, proposal development, and proposal review
  • PMP Certification
The compensation range for this position: $100k - $200k annually.
