DT Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist (Management Analyst I) to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. This position provides operational, personnel, and analytical support across multiple functional areas, including staffing, workforce planning, personnel actions, reporting, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and management support across multiple functional areas.
- Analyze workforce, staffing, and operational data using Excel and other tools to identify trends, risks, and resource impacts.
- Coordinate and process personnel actions such as recruit and fill actions, reassignments, promotions, retirements, and separations in compliance with federal regulations and Navy policies.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities, serving as a point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and employees.
- Maintain personnel records, documentation, and related administrative files.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communication across HR, leadership, and operational teams.
- Identify workflow gaps, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize systems and software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe, USA Staffing, TWMS, and DCPDS.
- Perform additional administrative, analytical, and operational duties as assigned.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in workforce operations, human resources, program analysis, personnel administration, or related support functions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
- Knowledge of personnel actions, staffing processes, onboarding, and workforce lifecycle support.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with USA Staffing, TWMS, DCPDS, or other federal HR systems preferred.
